Malek Daaboul brings extensive experience across marketing, sales, customer support, engineering, manufacturing, IT and business management, supported by strong planning, technical, and analytical skills. He spent nine years at Owens Illinois in Toledo, Ohio, serving in roles such as manufacturing engineer and systems software supervisor. He later joined Tektronix in Beaverton, Oregon, where he worked as a technical services manager for six years, followed by four years at Sequent Inc. as both a computer resources group manager and marketing manager. Daaboul then spent four years with IBM Global Services in Portland, Oregon, as a senior business management consultant and solutions manager, and two years at Oracle Corporation as a consulting services practice manager, where he focused on business development, project management and consulting engagements.
Since 1974, Daaboul has taught undergraduate and MBA courses, including Strategic Marketing Management, International Marketing and Operations Research. He holds master’s degrees in electrical engineering and industrial engineering, and he has completed two years of Ph.D. coursework in systems engineering.
